California Dreamin’ by the Mamas and the Papas
The song California Dreamin’ by John Phillips and Michelle Phillips and sung by the Mamas and the Papas was a big hit in the 1966 and has continued to sell and has made Michelle Phillips (the last surviving member of the Mamas and Papas) a small fortune.
The lyrics talk about dreaming of being in California when it is winter elsewhere.
